Violent Crimes detectives are working to identify the man who on Monday robbed the Dollar Tree at 1513 Robinson Road.
The suspect entered the business just before closing at 8:50 p.m. He approached two female clerks and demanded they open the registers at gunpoint. They complied and he fled with cash.
Detectives believe that he cased the business on March 18 when he entered the store shortly before closing time.
The suspect is described as Hispanic with a thin build who carried a black Jansport backpack. During the robbery, he wore white on white tennis shoes, black Adidas pants, a dark gray hoodie with "Bears" on the front, black gloves, and a black mask on top of what appeared to be a fake orange beard or fuzzy orange mask.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the attached photos is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
