Burglary Unit detectives are working to identify the suspects involved in two burglaries this week at the same Mapco gas station, 2115 21st Avenue South, where more than 200 packs of cigarettes were stolen each time.
The suspects, seen in attached surveillance images, used a brick to break into the business at 4 a.m. last Thursday before going behind the counter to snatch packs of cigarettes. At the same time this past Tuesday, one suspect, who is believed to be one of the same men as Thursday’s burglary, returned and used the same method of entry before stealing an additional 200 packs of cigarettes.
