Madison Precinct detectives are working to identify the gunman who early this morning robbed Walgreens at 627 Gallatin Pike South.
The suspect walked up to the drive-thru pharmacy window at 2 a.m. and demanded cash at gunpoint. The clerk complied and the gunman fled on foot. He is also suspected in a similar June 14 hold-up at Little Caesars Pizza, 400 Gallatin Pike North. He again approached the drive-up window on foot, displayed a gun, and after receiving cash, fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man. He appeared to wear the same shoes in both robberies.
