Updated January 2, 2024: Upon further investigation, West Precinct detectives are also working to identify a second suspect, seen in the attached photo, who is believed to be the thief who broke into the YMCA gym lockers and stole victims belongings. Detectives suspect the man from the YMCA is working in coordination with the man pictured at the liquor store, who then uses the victims credit cards to buy expensive liquor. Anyone with information on either suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers 615-742-7463.
West Precinct detectives are working to identify the thief who stole a man’s wallet from a YMCA gym locker and used his credit card to buy a very expensive bottle of Macallan scotch at a nearby liquor store.
The victim’s locker was locked, but the thief (seen in the attached surveillance photo) breached the locker in order to take the wallet. The scotch was worth thousands of dollars.
