A Wednesday traffic stop by the Florida Highway Patrol led to the arrests of Nashville murder suspects Charvelle Clark, 46, and Nikki Landry (also known as Nikki O’Brien), 36, who are under indictment for the January 7 fatal shooting of over-the-road truck driver David White on Lucas Lane adjacent to East Nashville’s Love’s Truck Stop.
Investigation by Homicide Unit Detectives Madison Meiss and Blake Lutz resulted in the indictment of the couple on second-degree murder charges. It is alleged that a dispute between the three parties resulted in White being shot. He was found dead in his truck the following morning.
Clark and Landry are being held in the Holmes County Jail in Bonifay, Florida, as fugitives from Nashville. They will be returned here in the near future.
