Central Precinct detectives are working to identify a man who on November 12 threw beer onto officers from a rooftop bar at 307 Broadway. He is wanted for assaulting a first responder.
Officers were on the sidewalk below, responding to a fight between two persons, when the suspect threw the beer from above. The liquid landed on several bystanders, including officers. Security guards inside the bar attempted to locate the man but he fled out the back exit.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the attached surveillance photo is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
