A male pedestrian has died following Sunday’s 10:20 p.m. hit and run crash on Nolensville Pike near McClain Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicates the man was running from west to east when a white Dodge Challenger or Charger with black racing stripes struck him at a high rate of speed.
The Dodge fled the scene heading northbound on Nolensville Pike.
The man died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The Medical Examiner’s Office will work to positively identify him.
