The public’s assistance is being sought to identify the man whose body, in an advanced stage of decomposition, was discovered on November 16th by a surveyor walking in a wooded area near Clifton Avenue. There was no evidence of foul play.
Forensic analysis has determined that he was a white male 40-60 years old, or older, and short in stature, between 5’3” and 5’8” tall. He had lost all of his teeth prior to his death. He had also sustained injuries to his forehead/face. The individual had surgical plates and screws in the nose and brow region, and his nose would likely have been crooked. His right eye would have also been affected.
Attached is a photo of the location where he was found, marked by the red X. He appeared to have been living at the site. He was found lying on his side next to a fold out chair near what appeared to be a campfire site. A USA soccer shirt, a blue USA soccer hat, a Merryman-Farr contractor jacket, and an empty wallet were recovered nearby.
Anyone with information about the man’s identify is asked to call North Precinct Investigations at 615-862-7901.
