Terrance Boyd, 43, an MNPD Most Wanted suspect who has been on the run for more than a year, has been arrested in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, on an outstanding rape warrant. Authorities there took him into custody at a residence after the MNPD received information about his possible whereabouts.
Boyd was a tech at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in July 2022 when he is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 13-year-old female patient. Boyd was a sitter in her room.
Boyd consented to a DNA swab, which was tested at the crime lab, and came back as a profile match.
He will be returned to Nashville in the near future to be booked on a charge of statutory rape by an authority figure.
