A composite sketch has been created of the man who sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy in Seven Oaks Park off McGavock Pike in South Nashville at approximately 5:30 p.m. on March 7. The victim worked with a TBI artist who developed the attached sketch.
The teen reported he walked to the park from his nearby home and was there for about 15 minutes before he was approached by a strange man. He said the man grabbed him by the arm, pulled him into a wooded area of the park, and sexually assaulted him. The man fled after noticing other persons in the area.
The suspect is described as white, approximately 50 years old, who has freckles and crooked teeth. He was wearing a black ball cap, black zip up jacket without a hoodie, blue shorts, a gray shirt, and gray and white tennis shoes. The man left the area in a 2000s model Honda Civic sedan (photo attached) and drove toward Knight Drive.
Anyone with information about the man or the car is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
