Violent Crimes detectives during the night arrested Cordarius Dashaun Clark, 29, of Antioch, who was wanted on four felony warrants following a November 12 robbery on Fesslers Lane.
The victim said he got off at the Fesslers Lane exit from I-24 East on his way to work, when a Nissan Maxima cut him off. The suspect, later identified as Clark, and another man, approached the victim’s car and claimed the victim damaged his Maxima. After Clark demanded the victim pay him, the two suspects got into the victim’s car and made him drive to an ATM.
During an altercation between the suspects and the victim, the victim took a photo of the Maxima’s license plate before Clark physically assaulted him. Clark smashed the victim’s phone and took his wallet. He also demanded the victim delete the photo of the Maxima’s license plate before he fled. The photo was retained on a cloud-based service.
Clark was taken into custody last night on Norcross Drive after detectives saw him driving his vehicle on Murfreesboro Pike. He was booked on aggravated kidnapping, robbery, vandalism and evidence tampering warrants.
He is currently being held in lieu of $117,500 bond.
