A 29-year-old man has been arrested following Saturday’s fatal shooting of Edin Delacruz-Reyes, 28, behind a business on Gallatin Pike South in Madison. Homicide Unit detectives identified Juan Ramirez-Guerra as the suspect involved. Specialized Investigations Division detectives located him this afternoon on Pillow Street and took him into custody.
Reyes and Ramirez-Guerra were reportedly gathered with others in the parking lot before the two walked a short distance away from the group and multiple shots were heard.
Reyes was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.
Ramirez-Guerra was charged with criminal homicide. He is now jailed on $150,000 bond.
