A tip to Crime Stoppers resulted in the identification of Wykevion Fortney, 36, as the man who on February 8th shot a father carrying his twin infant daughters in the parking lot at 5743 Nolensville Pike.
The victim yelled at Fortney, who was driving a white Ford Flex, after he was nearly struck by the vehicle in the parking lot which was heavily populated with pedestrians. Fortney then shot him in the hip.
Fortney is charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and gun possession to commit a felony. He remains jailed on $132,500 bond.
