Specialized Investigations Division detectives this afternoon arrested Marickus Ladd, 18, on a charge of criminal homicide for the March 8 murder of Gregory T. Manning II, 20, inside an apartment at Villas of Metro Center on Ponder Place.
Ladd was located today at a residence on Brook Castle Drive.
The investigation shows that Manning went to the apartment at Ladd’s request. While there, an argument ensued, resulting in Manning being fatally shot.
Ladd is now being booked into the Downtown Detention Center.
