Homicide and Specialized Investigations Division detectives are pursuing leads in Friday night’s murders of three men at a home in the 200 block of Bart Drive. The unidentified victims are all of Hispanic descent. One of them was fatally shot on the front porch. The two others were found fatally shot inside the residence.
The investigation at present, which has been supplemented by neighborhood surveillance footage, shows that two of the victims and a female arrived at the home in a white Honda sedan bearing a Georgia temp tag at approximately 10:35 p.m. Minutes later, several individuals who had parked just down the street approached the residence on foot. Multiple gunshots were fired. The three victims (one of whom was home when the two men and woman arrived) were all killed. The persons responsible fled from the property to their vehicles and drove off. The call to the Department of Emergency Communications came at 11:11 p.m. from a person asking that the police department check the address.
The woman is believed to have run away from the rear of the home. Her whereabouts are unknown. She is asked to make contact with the police department, including any officer. Resources are available to help ensure her safety.
A fourth man wounded by gunfire Friday night is believed to be connected to this case. He wound up at an apartment complex on Wallace Road near Southern Hills Medical Center with a wound to his hip and is now being treated at Vanderbilt. It was initially reported that he was shot while riding a bicycle Friday night in the area of Bart Drive. Detectives have not yet been able to speak with him to confirm that due to his medical condition.
