Saturday’s 10:20 p.m. two-vehicle head-on collision in the 2800 block of Murfreesboro Pike claimed the life of a 64-year-old Nashville man. Efforts continue to notify his next of kin.
The preliminary investigation shows that he was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze southbound when he crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck the driver of a 2020 Toyota RAV4. According to the driver of the RAV4, the Cruze was traveling very slowly prior to the collision. He was not injured and there was very little damage to either vehicle.
