Lovelle Winton-Jones, 35, was served with a first-degree murder indictment Thursday evening, while incarcerated on unrelated charges, for the July 14 fatal shooting of his girlfriend, Jamani Parker, 20, on Dodson Chapel Road.
Parker was found unresponsive that morning by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees on the Alta Lake Greenway. She died at the hospital.
Winton-Jones has been jailed since July 26 on nine charges, including drug possession and evading arrest.
