Update: Darwin Henriquez-Perdomo, 19, who was critically injured after he was shot early Sunday morning, has died. Homicide detectives are investigating Sunday’s 1:30 a.m. shooting in the parking lot behind 3901 Nolensville Pike that left one man critically injured with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim, Darwin Henriquez-Perdomo, 19, was dropped off at Southern Hills Medical Center by person(s) who immediately left the hospital. Henriquez-Perdomo was then transferred to Skyline Medical Center in extremely critical condition.
According to witnesses at the scene, a large group of vehicles in the parking lot were doing donuts and driving erratically when multiple shots were fired and the victim was struck. The motive for the gunfire remains under investigation.
