Homicide detectives this morning swore out a murder warrant charging Robert R. Smith, 27, with Saturday afternoon’s rifle slaying of Rasheed Walker, 31, outside 1811 Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard. Tips to Nashville Crime Stoppers as a result of Monday evening’s public release of surveillance photographs assisted in identifying Smith, a convicted armed robber and burglar. Smith is considered to be armed and dangerous. He may be driving a black 2012 Nissan Maxima bearing Tennessee license plate 4V6-1Y3.
