TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) detectives a short time ago arrested the second of two teenagers wanted for the January 2 fatal shooting of William Rafael Silva, 18. It was Nashville’s first murder of calendar year 2024.
Htet Sar, 18, was arrested this evening in Antioch. His co-defendant, Gabriel Melo-Beltran, 18, was taken into custody Wednesday night in Murfreesboro. Both were 17 when the murder occurred and are charged at Juvenile Court.
The investigation, led by Homicide Detective Miranda Vaughan, shows that Silva was shot during a robbery at Tusculum Court and Ocala Drive. He was dropped off at Southern Hills Medical Center at 1 a.m. on January 2 suffering from multiple bullet wounds. He died a short time later.
