Preparing scope of services for Right-of-Way (ROW) acquisition and Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services. Final utility coordination is in progress.
Project Description
This project involves the improvement of strategic pedestrian connections to the bus stops within the Plus Park Area for the BRT Lite and local service lines for WeGo Transit. A 5-foot sidewalk with 2.5-foot grass strip will be constructed with a 2.5-foot curb and gutter on both the north and south sides of Murfreesboro Road within the project limits.
This project is federally funded, locally managed and is monitored by the TDOT Local Programs Development Office.
Project Funding: 80% Federal and 20% Local
- Length: 2,969 linear feet
- Cross-Section: 5-foot sidewalk with 2.5-foot grass strip and 2.5-foot curb and gutter.
- Estimated Project Cost: $4,100,000
