The second annual city-wide basketball tournament for youth ages 10-13, sponsored by the Nashville Police Activities League, will be held tomorrow (Saturday) beginning at 8 a.m. in the gymnasium of McGavock High School.
Community engagement teams from seven of the police department’s eight precincts (the downtown Central Precinct excluded) have recruited young persons to play in the double elimination tournament. Games will continue into mid-afternoon.
In addition to basketball, there will be food, a Touch-a-Truck opportunity, and bounce houses. A number of officers will be on-site to interact with the kids and their families.
