The Metro Beautification and Environment Commission will be hosting the first of four Litter Summits this Saturday, May 4. These summits are made possible through the support of the TDOT Special Litter Grant, and will focus on educating community members about litter and illegal dumping. Representatives from the Metro Nashville Police Department, Metro Codes, Metro Public Works, TDOT, and Hub Nashville will be in attendance to explain the roles of each organization, as well as answer questions from residents in council districts 3,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14 & 15. Additional summits will be held for residents in other council districts.
