The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) is reminding residents that the department is currently accepting applications for the Vision Zero Task Force, an 11-member group that will coordinate with Metro staff on implementation of Nashville’s Vision Zero Program and 5 E’s of traffic safety: Engineering, Education, Evaluation, Encouragement, and Enforcement.
Residents with an interest in or passion for traffic safety and reducing traffic deaths and injuries on Nashville streets are encouraged to apply by the October 31 deadline. Staff will begin reviewing applications once the application window has closed and announce the task force members in the coming weeks.
