The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) is continuing to monitor the safety and condition of River Trace through periodic site visits while we work on further identifying solutions.
NDOT is also working with Geotech Consultants to conduct a full analysis of the geologic conditions that pose risks. This analysis will help us determine the best methods for any necessary remediation.
The consultants report that they will have more conclusive analytical information for NDOT Project Leads by July 19, 2024. NDOT Project Leads will then use this information to evaluate remediation construction methodologies with experienced contractors, determining the means and methods, timeframes, and associated costs.
NDOT will continue to update the property owners of River Trace and the Council Member as the project develops.
We also ask that you report any experienced or observed conditions of concern to Metro’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) for NDOT’s notification and response. OEM operates 24/7 and can be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone at 615-862-8530. Contacting OEM is the most expedient way of notifying NDOT of needed action.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to work toward the best corrective actions.
